Run by a family from Roses for many years. Family atmosphere, typical Catalan cuisine, very reasonable prices, open all year round, takeaway. The menu displays many dishes at a more than correct price. We also love the paintings of the painter Martí Vergonyos hanging on the walls.

The owners, a couple from the north of Italy, settled for a long time in Roses. They are simply super nice and the atmosphere too (we like the patio), the service is very friendly and agile. Most of the contents are in Catalan and Spanish nevertheless there are also some shelves of books in French, German and English. The space is ample and comfortable, well heated in winter. Upstairs there are tables and chairs for working and armchairs for reading. On the first floor there is a small lounge for reading newspapers and magazines and a patio. At certain times of the afternoon there can be swarms of high school students noisily invading the space to do their homework – so don’t forget your earplugs.
The media library also offers regular cultural activities that take place in a room.
